URL of the start page for mini 5.1? What is it/how can I find it? I can't seem to get the start page to reveal its identity to me, and I'd like to be able to navigate to it from elsewhere.

Speed Dial doesn't have an URL. But you can use shortcuts to go to the pages on it directly.
Press * and then 1 and you'll go to the first website on the page. Press * and then 2 and you'll go to the second website on the page. ...

That's because probably your phone has a little screen or tiny RAMmemory. What's the vendor / model?
I experience the same behavior after upgrading from (I think) 5.0 to 5.1 mini. Before, I had nice speed dial tiles. Now only a list of links...
Phone is Nokia 6300.

I guess it happens to make Opera Mini run better (faster / less crashes) on your phone, perhaps reducing RAM memory use.

This really a great browser I am enjoying very movement with it.
but my only problem is every time when I download something it's getting saved in my phone memory.
How can I change the download path?

There's a bug in the latest iPhone Opera Mini 5 build. At first, everything was great, but now there's a transparent (gray and white checkerboard) area on top of all my webpages. When I use select text tool and select this transparent area, it reveals me the text "Opera recommendations. More. Hide." or something like this (in Russian). And I don't know how to get rid of it. All this invisible text is non-clickable.

@Alexander the latest Opera Mini for iPhone is 6.0.1 not 5.

Rafael, sorry, my bad. Yes, my Opera build is 6.0.1. And I have just solved my problem by logging in here from my phone and by clicking the link "Get Opera". The transparent area disappeared!
