Another step towards a Tunny RC, now with Flash/plugin fixes
We're still not quite ready for a Release Candidate, but we've done some work on plugins that we would like you all to take for a spin. This should, among other things, fix the issue where Flash videos would keep playing in the foreground after closing or switching tabs.
So for this snapshot, please be on the lookout for plugin/Flash regressions, particularly related to focus and input.
As a general note, please test in 11.5x before you report any problems, and indicate in your comment whether it is a regression in 11.60 or not.
WARNING: This is a development snapshot: It contains the latest changes, but may also have severe known issues, including crashes, and data loss situations. In fact, it may not work at all.

Performance - esp. when scrolling - is pretty bad, and the chat box on the right lower side constantly scrolls back up, rendering it basically useless.
Also performance with Gmail is bad compared to other (all other...) browsers.
Well, and like many others I consider the changes made to the adress bar dropdown list a regression, as functionality is taken away while no advantages have been added.
The way it is no it is somewhere between 'worse than before' and 'pretty much useless'.
Regarding stability I can not complain so far, though the snapshot is still young :-)
(btw: the peacekeeper issue seems to effect all browsers; haven't see a PC crash yet though)

example
pinned a tab in 11.52 then compared it to the pinned tab of 11.60
the 11.60 pinned tab looks ugly compared to 11.52(which i like)
is it intentional and part of the featherweight fixes or just a mistake?
using windows 7

1) Go to http://www.google.fr/search?q=contenteditable and click on the first result.
2) Select some editable text and delete it. (backspace)
3) Click elsewhere in the page.
4) Select some editable text and try to delete it. (backspace)
--> It does not work, it goes back to google search results instead.
NB: Plus the fact that since 11.60, you cannot see which content is editable or not. You know what I mean...

If I have a tab stack with ~20 tabs in it plus a few other tabs, when I enter fullscreen, Opera freezes for a moment like this, and it freezes like this when I leave fullscreen. The problem disappears if I close all the tabs in the stack. This also happens per-window, so if I open a new window with only one tab, that window does not freeze when going fullscreen.

has been a case of NSL / Opera freeze for the last 3-4 snapshots. At least until earlier today, it worked fine in the previous snapshot, but i tried logging back in a couple hours ago, and it froze Opera again, with full (40-50% on a dual-core) CPU usage. First try with this snapshot, freeze, towards the end of loading the page.

wait for the page to load
go to bottom using "end"key
scroll all the way up using mousewheel
i am experiencing "stops" for 1-3 seconds twice. there are more stops of greater duration on longer pages.
anyone confirms?

Also, when you close the page the flash element remains briefly on the next tab. They don't last as long as in previous snapshots, but it still happens:
http://files.myopera.com/ugly95/albums/9812762/Flash1180.png
Another example is at TSN's Ice Chips page: http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/icechips/
Again, when you scroll you can see the flash elements (the team logos) jitter. And when you close the tab the logos will remain briefly:

again the mail threading issue.
Yesterday I send a message, got reply and replied it again - these three are correctly grouped in a thread. Today I got a second reply, but it was not added to the thread tree and appears alone in my inbox. I checked the headers - my yesterday Message-ID is <[email protected]> and the reply has exactly the same In-Reply-To: so where is the problem?
regards
Jan

Normally the whole page scrolls together. This snapshot scrolls the main content separately from the previous articles column as if they were different frames.
I suppose that could be new intended behaviour from the site, but it scrolls together as an entire page in IE9 and 11.52 as well as the previous Tunny snapshots.

... and I still get MemLeak logs on exit, even with a ultra clean install and plugins etc. off.
edit:
Found it: The MemLeak logs are written only with enabled JIT. JIT off, MemLeaks gone. Reported as DSK-351829 with a collection of logs.
