This is the most unstable release I have ever seen. 100% cpu usage is even crashing right here on opera.com.
Seeing as no one else is reporting this, it sounds like a problem with your system rather than a problem with this release. I recommend that you try to stay polite and constructive, and be specific and to the point when reporting problems.

I don't know why gmail with spdy doesn't loads, but if you read the other comments on this release you can see that i'm not the only one with this issue.

in this version of the wireless Internet was noticed that after the turn off or on the Internet at the open Opera, websites stopped opening recalling what that call forwarding or inconsistencies in the network or udentifikatsiyu. I can not give an exact answer because the error was spotted on a friend's computer, the time to find out it was not enough. But the fact that this is due to the new version, and personally checked to disconnect and connect the Internet.

I THINK I FIGURED OUT ALL THE SPURIOUS NSL / CRASH / GOOGLE ISSUES I HAD!
Sorry for the shout, but it's a big deal to me and maybe some other users out there too...
I had a hunch that all the issues I had were about connections getting messed up. I realised that all that SPDY kerfuffle is about establishing connections. I realised that Opera has had issues with my company's proxy in the past...
I joined up the dots, searched for SPDY in opera:config and set everything "on". Result...? NOTHING WORKED AT ALL. Then I went back to opera:config, searched for SPDY and set everything "off". Result...? EVERYTHING WORKS AS IT SHOULD!
Conclusion: SPDY does not work through my company proxy and must be totally disabled for me in Opera. Perhaps other people will experience the same issues when behind proxies. Now, how can Opera help these people out? (this is a serious question - should the SPDY settings have a big on/off button in the normal network preferences and a warning at first start up for people to check that it works?)
Edit: in case I wasn't clear, the default options after upgrading Opera are to have some SPDY options checked "on" and some not... in my case that led to a bizarre mix of pages working / half-working / not working ... and crashes. When I change the default settings so all SPDY is switched off, all pages work and I haven't had a crash yet.

I found something. I won't critise you, because your hardware acceleration implementation isn't ready yet, BUT:
When viewing http://www.opera.com/ , and all those extensions on top of the gears come, the gears rotate a bit slowly, with a bit of delay and jerkiness. If you hover between the extensions also, the gears don't animate fluently.
No such problem in other browsers.
Opera x64, Windows 8, HWA-DirectX, WebGL-On, Nvidia 310.33.
<Edit>: Ok, I don't know what happened. Was using Next in both cases. Before, the situation was as I posted. Now the gears animate smoothly.
Tried Opera stable without HWA and the gears were back to animate slowly.

OK, an oldtimer here (I'm using 10.10 ) and with this final I again decided to give it a shot as my mine browser (I was testing Next regularly).
It seems to work OK at first glance -- yay! ;-)
Push towards themes is disturbing as they are plain ugly… int that matter - default skin could be OK if the old bookmark bar had white fonts / wasn't transparent - yes, bookmark bar is better because I can access it with all tabs minimized!
tab arrangement seems to be better and less accidental stack occur but they are still there
It eats quite a lot ram (with the default config and same set of tabs as in 10.10 the ram usage is about 2x)
google services works quite well (have anyone tried using gmail in 10.10 recently? ) but! the CPU usage spikes while using them :/
All in all - it will stay for a few days -- nice work. Keep on bugfix tho!

It was me complaining about the fully-broken selection.
The thing to blame here is the in-place-translator extension
(https://addons.opera.com/pt/extensions/details/in-place-translator/?display=en) which is not only not working but breaking left-to-right text selections when enabled.
When this extension is disabled, and things work again normally. Except for GMail, where it won't work at all.
btw, a fast "disable all extensions" would be nice.
