Up to now I had a customized toolbar icon with the function to show the speed dial. The code is as follows:
Button1, "Speed Dial"="Show speed dial, , , "Speed Dial", "Window Speed Dial Icon""
("Window Speed Dial Icon" is a self-defined icon in the skin)
However, now with the new 12.10 version of Opera, this functionality is gone. Does anyone know what the new command for showing the speed dial is? It seems that "Show speed dial" wouldn't work anymore.
Any ideas? Help would be much appreciated

In pre-12 they could be used if you hand-inserted them in the keyboard.ini file. Either way, not now.

the new version of opera does not support legacy systems, caused by the new libc. is there a way to fix it????
[root@poel ~]# rpm -i opera-12.10-1652.x86_64.rpm error: Failed dependencies: libc.so.6(GLIBC_2.8)(64bit) is needed by opera-12.10-1652.x86_64 [root@poel ~]#I hope there is a workaround or something else.

Libero mail won't start.
Inbank service has several problems with some sections.
Wow... and this is a stable release? I had to remove Opera as default browser from all my office computers friends cause can't use it anymore for daily use...
i have no words...

The text in the dropdownboxes is cut short.
e.g. html5 date input field: <input id="meeting" type="date" value="2011-01-13"/>
Check rendering on this page http://www.html5tutorial.info/html5-date.php
Works ok on Windows XP with 12.10 :-)

It either stack or give "413. That’s an error." Chrome is working fine, so that's specific Opera's problem. Yesterday, before the update, everything was fine.

I tried clearing out the cache/history/cookies, and restarted, and it still didn't work.
The only thing that worked was clearing out all SPDY related checkboxes under opera:config, as mentioned in previous posts, and restarting opera.
I am using Windows XP SP3 x32. Going through a proxy server at my work.

This really is incredible how incompatible release 12.10 is with Gmail. If I had known this before, I would not have installed 12.10 on my other XP machines at the same time. I have this problem on all 3 of my XP machines!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I guess developers have about 50 my automatic reports about crashes.
Wait for fixing. Was forced to downgrade to 12.02.
On Win7 x64 seems to be more stable (I had no crashes for now, but used less on windows)

When I click on any of the six images, the JS pre-loads them and then displays them in a js modal like window, that fits the screen size. My desktop resolution is 1920x1080, but the images are 2560x1600 pixel. So what does the JS do? It shows it at 100% zoom, but allows the user to navigate with his mouse movements, so the whole image can be accessed at the original zoom level.
Works with current versions of Firefox and Chrome, but not in Opera.

It does nothing when on a regular page, and when in an edit box, it writes a 'space' character instead. It *does* still work on a Speed Dial page, when clicking in a blank area first.
I use the alt+space menu for minimizing/maximizing/restoring windows all the time (yes, I know I could use the win+arrow key combinations on Windows 7), so this is rather annoying.

If i take off my RJ 45 internet cable from computer (=close my internet connection for moment) and open opera and put it back. After that Opera CANNOT ANYMORE OPEN ANY SITES AT ALL.
There is no problem if my RJ 45 is on (=if i dont cut connection to internet before starting Opera) when i open/start opera.
But this is really bad problem, because i like to save a lot of pages addresses to opera (they are in top on opera browser, but not loaded if i dont have RJ 45 cable in computer when i start opera), but i dont like to load them all at once (thats why i take rj45 cable always off before starting opera. they soon get timed out and i put rj45 cable back for www using), when i start opera (because like 200 sites loaded same time would eat too much memory). Instead of that i open few of them and i look rest of them later, when i have more time.
Now i cannot do that because opera cannot connect to any internet site, if i take RJ 45 cable off (=cut connection to internet for moment) before starting opera. Before that worked fine that i closed internet connection for moment, started opera (pages in memory, but not loaded) and activated internet connection again and i could open internet sites normally via opera.
Please fix this soon.

save one login (user + pw) in wand. login. fine.
But now I tried to login to my second account by typing in the username + pw manually. Wand asks whether to save or not.
-> do nothing -> nothing hapens
-> close wand dialog -> nothing happens
-> save login in wand -> is saved, but doesn't log in
Reload page and use ctrl+enter -> choose account in wand dialog -> logs in + loads outlook.com

But after i downloaded Opera 12.10, then IF i turn internet connection off, open opera, turn internet connection on again: Opera cant open any internet sites any more.
I tried reinstalling opera with clean config files, but that doesn't solve problem. I even turned off SPDY settings in opera:config but that didn't help either. Only way i found to solve this problem was installing any previous version of Opera.

The continual problem I'm having is that the browser freezes. This normally happens when I click in the search box or if I've been away from Opera and I want to resume using it, and sometimes when I change tabs to another website. It hangs for an unpredictable time. Sometimes 20 seconds other times 1-3 minutes. It's getting to the stage now when I'm considering another browser however I'm holding out that a new fixed version will come out.
Another recent frustration is that if I double click on a movie that has downloaded the movie will open in AlShow (my default movie player) and it will either attempt to open it in Opera as well or prompt me to save it again from the web location. I am using a workaround of right clicking and choosing 'open in' which is not the optimum way of doing things. I thought it might have been Quicktime so uninstalled QT but the same error is occurring.
Hoping Opera 12.10 can quickly disappear from memory.
Please release a fixed version soon.

First, scrolling (win 8, 64 bits) is too fast compared with other Windows apps, like Firefox, Chrome and IE. I am not using a mouse, but rather the touchpad in my Compaq notebook. Something like this used to be a problem before just with some mice, not with the touchpad (Synaptics v. 7.5).
Second, and this makes Opera unusable for me: in Gmail, the new compose window should open a dialogue box to attach files, like we get in Firefox, Chrome, IE. In Opera, nothing at all happens.
Keep up the good work.
BTW, re: hardware accel, it was rather pleasing to see fonts well rendered, unlike Chrome and (the worse of all) IE10. There are still a few details for fonts to be as sharp as they are in Firefox, but Opera is certainly on the right path.

When opening secure pages (mainly netbanks, t-home and other company pages) fatal error (1578) occurs.
Can be worked around, as suggested in the Hungarian Opera Forum (ticking out opera:config#SecurityPrefs|Certificaterevocationlistsforssl) but still...
